Dear St Mary's Evangelizers, This is an early heads-up to get you thinking about it. Palm Sunday and Holy Week follows. As our parish did last year, we are planning to celebrate the Divine Mercy, the first Sunday after Easter, Deacon Robert Pierce and helpers, will serve during this day of veneration. Within the days leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday, we are again hoping to promote another opportunity for individual prayer, The Divine Mercy Novena. The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday. Please consider praying this Novena as part of the prayer chain in the church. If you are able, please attend the celebration on Mercy Sunday at 2pm at St. Mary's. FYI To better promote this Novena, Divine Mercy Pamphlets will be inside the Church Bulletin (Novena/Chaplet) to those attending any of the Palm Sunday Masses (Spanish/English). And during Palm Sunday, we will invite the Priests and Deacons to mention to our parishioners/visitors about this Novena and its start on Good Friday. Do share this message with anyone who is interested and not online. And especially ask all to Pray the Novena beginning Good Friday. Recall the particulars of praying the Novena and the special reparations given to those who Receive Holy Communion and the Sacrament of Reconciliation leading up to or directly after Divine Mercy Sunday. May All have a Blessed Lent and then Holy Week in Rememberance of the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ!
